NRMA Brand Campaign. It was a category changing complete brand relaunch, introducing the ‘Power of Un’ to the country. I even designed a custom typeface called “Un.” I was AD and CD on the work.

This outdoor site built over a week, a word a day. It won Bronze at the 2009 Australian Outdoor awards.

2009 Caxton Awards finalist.

Working on the 2007 Election campaign was an all consuming experience,  from logos to websites, photography, TVC Direction, bumper stickers and t-shirts.

The power of non traditional media, utilised for the first time in an election campaign. Within hours of being uploaded to sites this spot lead all TV News bulletins that night and was on all front pages the next morning. As well as creating the spot I directed and shot stills.

As head of Art on the Commonwealth Bank account for 3 years, we made a lot of TVCs, print, posters, DM and Digital.

The ad below with the pregnant woman on the bus was in Australia’s top 10 most liked ads of 2006.

In 2009 I had the opportunity to work on Australia’s Bid for the FIFA World Cup. We made this 2.5 minute film to be aired around the world as an invitation for everyone to Come Play in 2022. We convinced the Prime Minister to make a cameo appearance along with the Socceroos. I was lead creative, I also shot stills that were used in publications around the world.

In 2002 I created a campaign for Magnum’s Seven Deadly Sins ice cream range. We produced an idea for each Sin. We organised with the station to air the movie SEVEN for launch. Running the appropriate spot in the break after the corresponding sin. In print we ran all 7 ads in one print edition, again in appropriate sections, Greed - Finance, and so on. We created new media opportunities where consumers were more likely to sin, Sloth posters at Video shops, Envy stickers outside Prestige Car Dealership, Vanity posters in gyms.

The campaign won Australia’s first CANNES MEDIA GRAND PRIX, 7 CAXTON Finalists and more importantly returned sales results 400% above target.

A few years later we got to revisit the Magnum range of ice creams, this time with the “Sixties Nine”. With 9 flavour variants like
“Jami Hendrix” and “John Lemon” all inspired by the 60‘s. We decided to ask consumers to take another bite of the sixties.

The “Never been a better time to move” campaign for ANZ Bank went on to win 2 Silver at AWARD,
2 CAXTON AWARDS, ADMA and CAPLES.

At human we got the opportunity to publish our first book about Conscious Capitalism, or companies that don’t have to be evil to be successful. It was a huge undertaking from design to illustration and even some photography.

Campaign for Harley Davidson to promote the newly released Catalogue encouraging Harley riders to hold a book club. The campaign has been running for 3 years and will come to life as actual BOOK CLUB nights at dealerships across Australia.
